IT IS FINISHED! Surprisingly, postwork only took about three hours... For all those photoshop inclined, the best thing to do is cheat when dealing with complicated effects, such as fire, all you need to do is make a brush from a picture of fire, or even multiple brushes, its really ever so fun! Of course there is the small challenge of making fire LOOK like fire though...

No posts for the last week...Sorry
So this past week and the upcoming weeks are going to be very very busy, as its reading week and then finals and the move back to kingman next week. That and the Starcraft 2 multiplayer beta is slowly but surely taking my free time away... So most likely it will be a couple of weeks until any major posts, but they will get back up there, dont worry!

Finally... After two days...Its Done!
Yes, i know the shovel is floating... not a big deal. Next Im going to be mixing in the mood master masks, which will add quite a bit to it. Ill get that done this weekend at some point.
My computer has grown a mind of its own...
Well, for the second time in two days, i have lost a render to the wonders of microsoft automatic update, which seems to have turned on by itself. I went in and beat the hell out of it to set it back to manual, so hopefully tonight there will be the pic that was supposed to go up last night....

On second thought
Well, the first render of the Hero was, well, it was BORING! I really didnt like it, and i cant believe that i actually rendered it three times... oh well, ive got a much more exciting render that I will hopefully be posting the first of tonight. Add some atmospheric effects into this sucker and itll be much more thought provoking than its predecessor.

The Hero of our Pictures...
Well, here are the first test renders for the hero. Set up pretty quick using the basic M4, along with the steam cowboy prop set. A couple of different light sets, and Im rendering another using mood master 2 which adds some rain into it. Then I intend to postwork the darkest render and composite all three into one, and then further postwork.
Beginning of the Necromancer series...
Bonjour!
I just started to work on a new series tentatively titled "Necromancer". I have the first image rendered in its entirety, which took a total of four days to set up, render, and postwork. Main set up is done in Daz Studio 3, with the postwork done in our great friend Photoshop. Normally I will be posting the entire process as i go through, with some minor tips if you have any interest in starting out in digital art. Au revoir for now!
